To my readers...
When I was teaching severely abused, neglected, abandoned children, I was amazed at how these beautiful young spirits found the abiity to laugh, love and most importantly trust again in my classroom.
These are children who had been abused by the adults they trusted to care for them, neglected by other adults who failed to protect them, and abandoned by the surrounding community of people who did not understand them or listen to their voices calling for help.
They live in my heart everyday and I promised them that I would use my voice everyday to educate people on the complex and intolerable issue of child abuse.
Eradicating child abuse begins with education and it begins with each one of us... so I have created "Everday With Dr. K" an online child advocacy community where education and advocacy meet !
